Today marks the beginning of a bold new era: the launch of a new Innovid and, in the process, redefining what independent ad tech at scale truly means. 

Forged from the combined strengths of Innovid and Flashtalking, and under the Mediaocean umbrella, our new identity represents the sum of our parts and a “whole” lot more. 

Here is how we unveiled the new Innovid at Marketecture live in New York. Shout out to Shai Ryter, Kirsten Maurer, Chen Igra, and Morgan Alfrejd from our brand and design teams who collaborated to create the new identity, and are our zoom stars, as well as Jonathan Wood who produced this and the other logo animation videos.

 

 

But why “Innovid?” And what does this new brand identity signify? 

 

The genesis of Innovid

In the wake of last month’s merger, we moved quickly to establish a forward-looking identity that would unite all stakeholders behind our bold vision for independent ad tech. 

Both Innovid and Flashtalking have earned strong reputations in the industry, boasting deep customer relationships and cutting-edge technology. Instead of choosing a new name, we decided to embrace what already defines us. 

The name "Innovid" was originally coined by CEO and co-founder, Zvika Netter, in 2008, as a blend of innovation and video. Over the years, Innovid grew to be a major player in the CTV space and even debuted on the public markets under the CTV ticker symbol. 

Fast-forward to today and CTV remains a sector that’s a significant growth driver for our company and clients. Add in AI-driven omnichannel capabilities from Flashtalking and the new Innovid is poised to become the most powerful end-to-end ad tech platform. 

 

Our merged legacy 

The new Innovid logo is a testament to our rich heritage and our exciting future. The logo combines the iconic pink of Flashtalking with the trusted blue of Innovid to create a vibrant purple, symbolizing the fusion of our two powerful brands. This color choice not only honors our past but also signifies our commitment to a bright and innovative future. 

 

 

The three I’s in the logo icon come together to form a play button, a nod to our video roots, and a symbol of our future opportunities in CTV, social, and beyond. This design element underscores our dedication to the legacy of our brands as well as the exciting advancements we are poised to make in the ad tech industry. 

 

 

The 3 I’s: pillars of the new Innovid 

The new logo and icon are more than just a design—they’re a statement of our values and our vision. The three I’s represent the core pillars of our brand:

  • Independence: We’re free from walled gardens and conflicts of interest, providing advertisers with full control over their data, measurement, and media investments.
  • Intelligence: We offer AI-driven insights, allowing advertisers to optimize across platforms without external influence.
  • Innovation: We’re committed to providing future-proof infrastructure that not only drives change but also adapts seamlessly to emerging channels and formats so our clients can lead, not just react, to the next era of advertising.
